With the AC Acceleration Timer, demonstrate increases in velocity and precisely calculate acceleration, drag, and friction by measuring the interval between a series of dots.
Powered by two 1.5-V “D” cell batteries, this timer can be clamped down anywhere in the laboratory. The 13 mm wide paper is guided over a striking surface at a rate between 30 to 50 marks per second. The rate can be slowed by inserting an aluminum rod (included) in place of one battery. Carbon discs and a roll of paper included.
