The thick plastic casing also contributes to ultra quiet operation and affords further protection from electrical hazards. These pumps also feature unique silicone polymer (Silaflex®) flapper valves. Air pollutants cause standard valves to curl and deteriorate—resulting in a gradual loss of airflow and pressure. Super resistant polymer valves offer much longer life and little or no decrease in performance over time.
