This enzyme is used to decompose hydrogen peroxide. Units of activity are shown on the bottle label and vary from lot to lot. Currently our label shows 3800 units per milligram solid. We also provide a technical data sheet to help you prepare catalase solutions. Catalase solution must always be very fresh. Even a solution that is just a few hours old will render poor results.
