Product Details
Quickly determine the conductivity of a solution with this low-priced current indicator. A red LED is illuminated if the solution conducts electricity. For use with 24-well reaction plates or combination plates. 9-volt battery required but not included.
How to Assemble and Use the Current Indicator
- Place the current indicator in one of the wells of a 24-well reaction plate.
- Attach one of the black wires to the negative (–) terminal of a 9-volt battery. Place the other black wire in the well of the 24-well reaction plate containing the solution for which the conductivity will be measured.
- Attach one end of the red wire to the postivite (+) terminal of the 9-volt battery. Place the other end in the well containing the solution for which the conductivity will be measured.
- If the solution conducts electricity, the red LEF on the current indicator will light up.
