In this impressive eye-catching demonstration, hexane vapors are poured down an aluminum vapor ramp towards a lit candle. When the vapor reaches the flame, all three necessary ingredients for a fire are present—oxygen, hexane fuel and a source of ignition. The flame travels back up the ramp leaving an impressive trail of fire as it goes. A very safe demonstration illustrating organic vapor flammability.Enough materials are included to perform this demonstration seven times.
