Tangent Height Gauge for field studies in Earth science and environmental science is an elegantly simple device for measuring the height of nearly any object. Virtually unbreakable under normal use.
An elegantly simple device for measuring the height of nearly any object. The user sights the top of the object being measured through the two circular sighting rings and alters her position until the level bubble is centered (as viewed through the mirror). The distance from the user to the base of the object plus the distance from the ground to the user's eye level is the height of the object. Constructed of durable ABS plastic, the gauge is virtually unbreakable under normal use. Instructions for use are printed directly on the gauge.
