The Organic Removal Cartridge for Barnstead hose nipple–type demineralizers is an excellent, economical source of pure water, requiring no special equipment or hardware.
The Organic Removal Cartridge connects easily to a water source using standard 3/8" laboratory tubing (not included) and provides a reliable, economical source of purified water for classroom and laboratory use. This single-use, disposable cartridge removes organic impurities through specialized media, and a dye indicator changes color when the cartridge is exhausted for simple monitoring. Water output varies according to the “grain” (dissolved solids) level of the incoming water, so users should consult local water quality resources to determine the correct cartridge type. Three hose nipple cartridges are available—Standard, Ultrapure, and Organic Removal—each meeting different water purity needs. The Organic Removal Cartridge is ideal for situations where organic contaminants must be eliminated before deionization or other purification steps. For wall-mounted use, pair with the Cartridge Wall Bracket Holder (AP1266), sold separately.
