Top and middle decks have 16-mm diameter holes; bottom deck holes are tapered from 16 mm to 6 mm diameter. Standard pipet tips will not fall through the bottom deck holes and hit the table surface. The end plates have handles for easy carrying. Autoclavable at 121 ºC. Dimensions are 21 × 11 × 22 cm.
