The oversized, seamless tank is injection-molded from thick, UV-transparent acrylic for durability, leak resistance, and easy monitoring during experiments. Adjustable leveling feet ensure uniform buffer depth across all gels for consistent, reliable results. Built-in safety features include recessed electrical connections and a safety interlock that prevents operation unless the transparent cover is properly secured. Each gel casting tray features an embossed ruler, rubber end caps, and multiple comb slots to support flexible gel configurations. The apparatus includes six 7 × 7 cm gel casting trays, six 6-tooth combs, a transparent cover, and a UV-transparent molded base, and requires a compatible electrophoresis power supply such as FB0316 (sold separately).
