The Ultrapure Cartridge provides exceptionally pure, research-grade water for laboratory applications and connects easily to a water source using standard 3/8" laboratory tubing (not included). This single-use, disposable cartridge contains a mixed-bed ion exchange resin with a 915-grain capacity, producing high-resistance, low-impurity water ideal for experiments requiring ultrapure or CO₂-free water. A built-in dye indicator changes color when the cartridge is exhausted, making it easy to determine when replacement is needed. Water output will vary depending on the “grain” (dissolved solids) content of the local water supply, so users should confirm local water quality to select the appropriate cartridge type. Three cartridge options are available—Standard, Ultrapure, and Organic Removal—and the Ultrapure Cartridge can be wall-mounted using the Cartridge Wall Bracket Holder (AP1266), sold separately.
