The Hoffmann Electrolysis Demonstration Apparatus is engineered for precise, quantifiable electrolysis experiments and features calibrated glass collection tubes for easy measurement and observation. Constructed from durable borosilicate glass with platinum or carbon electrodes, it is designed to hydrolyze water but can also be used with other compounds. A rugged built-in ring stand base provides stability, while the integrated thistle tube and stopcocks allow clean, no-mess filling. The unit operates using a 9-V battery or a DC power supply. Gas collection tubes typically hold 60–100 mL per side. Included accessories consist of the glass body, gas collection tubes, stopcocks, electrodes, and support frame. Replacement glassware and electrodes are available separately. Approximate dimensions: 11" H × 6" W × 3" D. One-year warranty. Compatible with AP6217.
