This easy-to-use Nalgene® hand-operated vacuum pump is constructed of high-quality, corrosive-resistant polyvinyl chloride and is designed to quickly establish and hold a vacuum of 25 inches of mercury for up to 24 hours. A spring-loaded valve allows the vacuum to be released without disconnecting the pump from the line. The nozzle fits ¼" i.d. tubing, and 2 feet of tubing is included. A built-in gauge displays vacuum levels in both centimeters and inches of mercury. The sealed, self-lubricating design ensures smooth performance, while molded finger grips in the squeeze-type handle support comfortable operation. Ideal for siphoning, filtration, and indirect fluid transfer. Note: For bell jars and vacuum chambers, use the Two-Stage Vacuum Pump, AP1597.
