Filtervac® Filter Aids are unique molded-rubber filter adapters in disc form. The Filtervac® is strong enough to support a load under vacuum while remaining resilient enough to provide a secure rubber-to-glass seal.
Filtervac® is a molded-rubber filter adapter formed as a durable disc with a tapered center socket designed to securely support and seal a filter crucible—such as a Gooch crucible—or a funnel in the neck of a filter flask. The adapter is strong enough to withstand vacuum loads while remaining resilient enough to provide a tight rubber-to-glass seal. The socket’s interior diameter at the top is 32 mm, and the overall disc diameter is 76 mm. The underside of the disc is flat to seal tightly against a filter flask’s lip.
