Structures are from xerophytic (low moisture) and hydrophytic (high moisture) plants. Leaf cross sections from the creosote bush (a xerophyte) and the water lily (a hydrophyte) are compared, as are stem sections from Aloe (a succulent xerophyte) and Elodea (a hydrophyte).
