Product Details
Brightly demonstrate the differences between series and parallel circuits with this large-scale apparatus. Two three-position rocker switches allow the connection between adjacent lightbulbs to change between series and parallel. Observe the varying intensity of the lightbulbs with every flip of a switch. Each lightbulb has a different power rating so the affects of the changing current and voltage in the circuit are clearly displayed. Challenge students to determine how the bulbs are connected as they observe the varying brightness of the bulbs. Instructions are provided. Three household-type lightbulbs (40W, 60W, 100W) are required, but not included. Requires a 120-V outlet. Dimensions: 56 cm × 16 cm × 8 cm.
