Finally—an inexpensive and accurate photogate timer for all your high-speed timing needs! Measure time to 0.0001 seconds with no fuss. The Flinn PSWorks™ Photogate Timer is easy-to-use with five common function modes specifically used in the physical science classroom.
These five functions are perfect for the following experiments:
• Measure instantaneous and average speed of an object.
• Determine acceleration due to gravity.
• Measure the period of a pendulum.
• Measure the frequency of a rotating object.
Timer holds 20 data points in memory for repeated trials without resetting during experiments. Photogates clamp to all Flinn PSWorks™ equipment. This universal photogate can be used as a stand-alone product for most physical science experiments that require fast timing. Two photogates, one timer, connector cords and AC adapter are included. Threaded support rods for photogates are available and sold separately.
