Novel horizontal chambers permit the rapid screening of column chromatography fractions. Designed for economy and use in student laboratories.
Use with 25 mm × 70 mm flexible plastic or glass thin-layer chromatography (TLC) plates that may be spotted with up to ten fractions 7 mm apart along the long edge of the plate. Uses only 2 mL of solvent with elution complete in about 45 seconds. Greater resolution may be achieved by extending elution time.
