Product Details

Bullets are often an important piece of forensic evidence. They can link a certain gun to a crime, which may then provide a suspect. Before matching bullet striations to specific weapons, it is helpful to be able to identify different types of bullets. This set of seven unfired bullets includes the following types: jacketed, semi-jacketed, hollowpoint, semi-jacketed softpoint, lead round nose, semi-wadcutter and wadcutter. Sure to engage students in forensic studies! Includes information that details the physical characteristics each type of bullet. This school-safe set does not include cartridge case, primer or gun powder.
