The vacuum chamber with plate is a safe, polycarbonate bell jar that has excellent chemical resistance. Clear plastic allows for easy observation of air pressure effects.
This complete vacuum chamber system includes a durable, chemical-resistant polycarbonate bell jar measuring 6" in diameter and 9" tall. The clear plastic construction provides excellent visibility for observing air pressure effects during demonstrations. The included vacuum plate is also made of polycarbonate and features a 7½" outside diameter. A side-mounted tubing adapter accepts ¼" i.d. vacuum tubing (AP8789). Compatible with Flinn’s single-stage or two-stage vacuum pumps (AP1712 or AP1597), this chamber provides a safe, reliable setup for classroom and laboratory demonstrations involving changes in air pressure.
