High-quality machine to demonstrate waves the whole classroom or lecture hall can see. Pendulums have bright yellow ends to enhance visibility of the wave patterns. Versatile transverse wave machine consists of a series of pendulum independently suspended on a common base and attached together with long, light springs. Unit has two modules with 21 pendulums each. Modules can be used separately or connected together. Includes a damping unit with a paddle and water bath and motor-powered driver. A brake mechanism allows all the pendulums to be arrested simultaneously and “freezing” the momentary pattern of the wave.
