Wave stick models are a wonderful way to demonstrate frequency, wavelength and amplitude of waves. In this kit, the teacher will first demonstrate a preassembled wave stick model and then have students construct their own wave stick models. Students will experiment with the arrangement of the wave sticks and the tape patterns holding them together. Once done, they will use their models to demonstrate other wave principles. The kit materials are reusable and include an assembled wave stick model, 400 additional wave sticks, masking tape, and complete background and instructions.
