The thick, rubber base and feet dampen vibrations for smooth, quiet, no-slip operation and elevate the housing for added electrical insulation and protection from spilled water. The thick plastic casing also contributes to ultra quiet operation and affords further protection from electrical hazards. These pumps also feature unique silicone polymer (Silaflex®) flapper valves. Air pollutants cause standard valves to curl and deteriorate—resulting in a gradual loss of airflow and pressure. Super resistant polymer valves offer much longer life and little or no decrease in performance over time.
