The unit has variable speed settings from 500 to 3,500 rpm. The variable, 30-minute timer allows you to set specific spinning times. If the lid is opened during use, a safety switch cuts power to the rotor and the rotor slows to a stop. Unit includes plastic tube sleeves to accommodate centrifuge tubes from 3- to 15-mL. Rugged and dependable centrifuge features a one-piece plastic housing and a high-impact plastic view port to observe samples. Holds a maximum volume of 120 mL.
