Product Details

You will be impressed with the quality and appearance of the Flinn Molecular Model Sets! The colorful, sturdy plastic atoms and connectors will endure years of molecular model building. The components are easy to assemble and can be easily separated and used again. Models are adaptable to student group use or classroom demonstration and display. Single-, double- and triple-bonded molecules may be constructed.

Instruction sheet and plastic storage case or bag are included with each set. Replacement atoms and bonds are available separately.

Specifications

A model set that offers the best of both chemistry worlds—inorganic and organic! Not only can it make a whole array of organic models, this set allows you to make hydrides, halides, metal oxides and hydroxides, non-metal oxides, acids and salts. The eight metal atoms are of four types—1-hole, 2-hole (105º angular), 3-hole (107º pyramidal) and 4-hole (109º tetrahedral). The 92-piece set includes the following 52 atom centers:
