The ground thin rocks and minerals microscope slide sets offer fossils, meteorites, igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks and minerals ground and polished to only 20–30 μm thick. Mounted with Canada balsam, slides measure 45 x 30 mm. Using a normal microscope, identify forms, colors, refractions and fossil inclusions; discover additional aspects when using a polarimeter or microscope with polarized-light equipment.
